Announcing  Applicants for Membership

We are happy to announce the following applicants for membership in Richfield Rotary, as the first step in our Richfield Rotary Relaunch!

Louis (Lou) Dzierzak  is a  free lance writer and the founder of LKD Media.   He and his wife, Carey, have two school-aged children, Emily and Jack.  Lou also has two adult children, Taylor and Claire.   Hobbies and special interests include outdoor recreation and reading.  Lou has served on the Friends of Woodlake Board of Directors and as a coach of several youth sports teams.  He attended the first Relaunch Information meeting and is excited about the possibility of helping to build a "new" Richfield Rotary club, most of whose members live, work, and / or do business in the community.

Brandt Krueger is a technical producer for the meetings and events industry.  He and his wife, Barbara, have two children, Samantha and Fiona.  Brandt serves on the Richfield District 280 Technology and Fiscal Planning Committees.  Hobbies and special interests include technology, music, and woodworking.  (Brandt is sorry he missed working on the Little Free Library project!)
Brandt will be traveling for business in early October, but hopes to be inducted into membership on October 17.

Richfield Mayor Maria Regan Gonzalez and Simon Trautmann, City Council representative from Ward 1, submitted an application for a shared membership.  Mayor Gonzalez is married to Jigme Ugen.  Her major interests include "building community and collaborative leadership."  Simon is a life-long Richfield resident, lawyer and business owner.   The Simon family has lived in the Richfield area for over three generations, and he, his wife and children are "fully invested" it its success.   Two fun facts about Simon:  He lives in the same house where he grew up and attended Sheridan Hills Elementary School!
